Description: The Tunisian Purl Crochet Stitch creates a fabric with a textured, purl-like surface. It’s perfect for adding dimension and variety to Tunisian crochet projects such as garments, scarves, and blankets.

Instructions

• Foundation Row: Start with a chain of any number. Insert your hook into the second chain from the hook, YO, and pull up a loop. Keep the loop on the hook. Repeat across the row to keep loops on the hook. Do not turn.
• Return Pass: YO and pull through one loop on the hook (this forms the edge). *YO and pull through two loops.* Repeat from * to * until one loop remains on the hook.
• Row 1 (Forward Pass): Bring the yarn to the front of your work. Insert your hook into the front vertical bar of the next stitch, YO, and pull up a loop while keeping the yarn in front. Keep the loop on the hook. Repeat across the row.
• Repeat Return Pass: Follow the same steps as the Return Pass described above.
• Repeat Rows: Continue repeating the Forward and Return Passes until the desired length is achieved.
