Instructions

1. Foundation Row: Chain an even number of stitches.
2. Row 1:

   • Work 1 SC in the first stitch. *Insert your hook into the next stitch in the row below the previous row (or a lower row), YO, pull up a loop, YO and pull through both loops on the hook (this creates the spike stitch). Work 1 SC in the next stitch.* Repeat across the row. Chain 1 and turn.
4. Row 3:
   • Work 1 SC in each stitch across the row. Chain 1 and turn.
5. Repeat: Alternate Rows 2 and 3 for the desired length.
