Puff Crochet Stitch

The Puff Crochet Stitch is a soft and textured stitch that is ideal for creating cozy and warm projects such as blankets, scarves, and hats. The puff stitch adds a lot of depth and interest to your crochet work.

Stitch Instructions

Foundation Chain: Any number of chains.

Row 1: Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, SC in each chain across. CH 1 and turn.

Row 2: *YO, insert hook into the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop. Repeat from * 4 more times in the same stitch (you will have 11 loops on the hook). YO and pull through all loops on the hook. CH 1 to close the puff. Skip the next stitch.* Repeat from * across the row. CH 1 and turn.

Row 3: SC in each stitch and CH 1 space across. CH 1 and turn.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3: Continue until the desired length is achieved.
