How to Increase
HOW TO INCREASE
For the basis of increasing, we will use a US-single crochet/UK double crochet. When increasing a stitch, you simply work into the same stitch twice.
Instructions (U.S. Terminology)
- Foundation Chain: Chain any number
- Row 1: Single crochet to the end, ch1, turn.
- Row 2: Increasing at the beginning of the row - sc 2 into the first stitch, sc5. Increasing in the center of the row - sc2 into the next stitch. Sc to the last stitch. Increasing at the end of the row - sc2 in the last st. Fasten off.
