Granny Square No 2
This is the 2nd granny square in the directory. I have used Dk Yarn and a 4mm hook, however you can use any size yarn with the corresponding hook size

Granny Square 2 Chart
- Abbreviations: Stitch(es)-st(s), slip stitch(s)-sl st(s), chain(s)-ch(s), double crochets(s)-dc(s).
- Granny Square type Granny square No 2
- Foundation Chain Ch 5, ss in 5th ch from the hook
- Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc here and throughout), into ring work 15 dc, sl st to the top of the ch3.
- Rnd 2: ch4,*dc1, ch1* rep * to * 15 timies, sl st to 3rd ch of ch4.
- Rnd 3: ch3, *dc2 in the first ch1 space, dc into the prv dc in the last round.* rep * to * 15 times, dc2 in the last ch1 sp, sl st join to top of the ch3.
- Rnd 4: sc1 in the joining st, *ch5, sk2, sc1, ch2, sk2, sc1, ch2, sk2, sc1* rep from *to* 3 more times, sl st to first sc1.
- Rnd 5: ch3, working into the ch5 sp, *dc4, ch3, dc4, sc1 in the 2ch sp, dc5 in the next 2 ch sp, sc1 in the 3rd ch 2 sp,* rep * to * 3 more times. sl st join.
- Rnd 6: In this round you can sl st to the ch3 sp or cut and rejoin the yarn in the ch3 sp. *sc1, ch3, sc1 in the ch3 sp, ch5, dc1 in the sc1 of the prev round, ch3 sc1, ch3, dc1 in the top of the sc1 of prv round, ch5* rep * to * 3 more times, sl st join.
- Rnd 7: *(ch3, dc2, ch2, dc3) in ch3 sp, dc5 in the ch5 sp, (dc3 in the ch3 sp) twice, dc5 in ch5 sp* rep * to * 3more times, sl st join.
- End: Fasten off and sew in ends
