- Bracket 1 (…) – Repeat the instructions within round brackets for the indicated number of times.
- Bracket 2: […] – Repeat the instructions within brackets all in the same indicated st.
- Bracket 3 *… – Repeat the instructions from the * for the indicated number of times.
- Foundation Row: Make a multiple of 12 + 3 stitches.
- Row 1: Dc4tog starting from the fourth ch from your hook. Ch 1, *(tr 1, ch 1) twice. In the next st, [tr 1, ch 1, tr 1]. (Ch 1, tr 1) twice. Ch 1, dc7tog, ch 1. Repeat from * as many times as the number you multiplied 12 for minus 1. (Tr 1, ch 1) twice. In the next st, [tr 1, ch 1, tr 1]. Ch 1, dc4tog. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 2: Dc2tog. *Dc 11 (over the next tr and ch-1 sps), dc2tog between the ch-1 sps before and after the dc7tog from the previous row. Repeat from * as many times as the number you multiplied 12 for minus 1. Dc 11, dc2tog. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 3: Row 3 is same as row 1 except that you’ll work over the dc sts from row 2.
- Repeat: Repeat row 2 + 3 until the length you want is achieved.
