Special Stitches: Wide sc, a wide stitch is when you make your stitch between the posts of the previous row.
Foundation Row: Chain a multiple of 3 + 2
Row 1: dc1 into the 5th chain from the hook, dc to the last stitch, start to make a dc in the last st, changing colour through the last 2 loops on the hook when finishing the dc. Turn.
Row 2: Do not ch1. Sc into the prv dc where you changed the colour, wide sc, *ch2, sk3, wide sc* rep from * to * to last st, Sc into the turning chain, changing colour before finishing off the sc, turn.
Row 3: ch3 (counts as a dc) *dc3 into the ch3 space* rep from * to * to last 2 sts, dc into the last st, changing colour as you finish your dc, turn
Row 4: sc into the dc where you changed the colour, wide sc, *ch2, sk3 prv dc3, wide sc* rep from * to * to last st, sc in the last st, changing colour.
Pattern Repeat: Repeat rows 3-4 until you reach your desired length.
