BEAN CROCHET STITCH

Special Stitches: The Bean stitch- insert your hook into the stich and pull up a loop, (yarn over, insert the hook into the same stitch and puul up another loop) repeat the last step once more, yarn over and pull through the 6 loops on the hook.
Foundation Row: Chain a multiple of even chains
Row 1: sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc to the end of the row, ch1, turn.
Row 2: sc in the stitch under the ch1, sk1, *bean st, ch1, sk1* rep from * to * until last 2st, sk1, sc1, turn, ch1.
Row 3: sc1, skip the bean st, *bean st into the space right at the side after the prv bean st, ch1* rep from * to * to end, sc1 in the last st.
Pattern Repeat: Repeat row 3 until you reach your desired length.

The Bean crochet stitch is almost the same as the Elizabeth stitch only a little bigger and chunkier, great for for blankets and throws.
